i really cannot tell sometimes…

if the woman is pregnant or just has a heavy mid section.  like today, for example, this woman was standing next to me on the train (i was seated), and if i had truly known she was pregnant, i would have been more than happy to give up my seat.  i like to be the nice person that does that, and i am sure that carrying a baby inside of you is not that easy on your body, especially at the 7 month marker and beyond.  turns out, i still am not sure if she was pregnant, but i gave up my seat at the chicago stop for her.  i am not really sure how to find a solution to my problem because if i randomly give up my seat to some woman (whom i think could be pregnant, but is maybe just heavy in the mid-section) then i might just be insulting her.  i think the men sitting around me should give up their seat first (ha!).
